Robin Adwar
Robin brings an innate ability to listen and re-frame the thoughts of others in order to bring them more clarity and focus.
Robin has always been interested in the "human dynamic." To try to uncover and understand the values and priorities of a person along with how and why they behave or interact with others in their personal and professional life is a role she is diligent about. Robin is a strong support person and resource to our business owner, CEO and managing professional clients as well as to their key managers and employees. She works with her clients to improve organizational success at all levels through the creation of "human systems;"from the selection of the right person into the right position, to clearly defined job descriptions and performance development plans through retention.
Robin started her career close to 20 years ago in the field of Human Resources for the world's leading financial services companies. In the corporate world, Robin managed several unique staffs and implemented many global initiatives specific to competitive benefits and compensation and was involved in a trial "job-share" arrangement which successfully lasted over 5 years. She worked with her clients to both manage and grow their specific business units while at the same time balance revenues and other challenges. Robin's clients were both domestic and international throughout her career in corporate.
For almost 5 years Robin chose to be a stay at home mom; she worked from home, part-time, to assist her husband grow his Staffing Services business that has successfully completed its 16th year with offices in NY & NJ. At the same time she explored the field of education as well as devoted a tremendous amount of time to community volunteer work, which she still does in multiple capacities. All of this experience has given her the skills needed to support the clients at SoundBoard. Robin joined SoundBoard in 2002 and has since received the Certification in Facilitation and is also trained in Executive, Team and Group Coaching. She takes learning and improvement to heart and in May of 2006, Robin became a partner of SoundBoard.
Robin is married to a tenacious New York City business owner. She lives in New Jersey where they raise their two wonderful children.
